25 Year Anniversary All-Star "We Are The World" Remake For Haiti

As all the glowing reports come in about the all-star sessions that took place over the weekend at Jim Henson's original Ranch Studios, you begin to wonder really, what the hell this thing is gonna sound like. I'm sure whoever could have been there, was there. A friend of mine actually, Paul Haggis (director of Crash) filmed the entire session in a sweeping music video while producer Red One (Lady Gaga, U2) joined original producers Quincy Jones, and Lionel Richie in presiding over 100+ music stars including Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Pink, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Usher, Akon, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, Tony Bennett, LL Cool J, Swizz Beatz, T-Pain, Wyclef Jean, Will.I.Am, Busta Rhymes, Kid Cudi, Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Bizzy Bone, Keith Urban, two Beach Boys (Brian Wilson and Al Jardine) and three Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe and Kevin). They gave Lil Wayne Bob Dylan's role and when asked how he approached the Dylan part and whether he sang or rapped it, Wayne said that was an embarrassing story, since he's not known as a singer and he just tried to do his best to make it work. "I don't know how to sing. I approached it the best way I know how, brother," he told a reporter with a smile. When another writer asked whether he did a better job than Dylan, Wayne flashed his diamond-studded grill and said humbly, "Hell no." That's pretty dope.

*Anxious about this.

If you'd like to read more stories hit MTV, LA Times, Rolling Stone or NY Mag.
Also, for a lot more pics, NahRight is pretty good.
