*New Music* Thinking About You - Bridget Kelly

This is beautiful. A couple days ago it leaked with Frank Ocean singing and lit up the internet. He penned it and the version that came out was just a reference. Sounds full now. Andy WarHOV just dropped it.

RZA Talks About His New Headphones With WeSC

Forgot to post this a couple days ago. While making some headphones isn't a new thing I like the OG's approach to the matter. Not to mention good filmmaking even in a quick interview goes a long way with me.

Amy Winehouse Portrait Shot By Terry Richardson

Terry just put up some photos of Amy in his studio circa 2007. They show a smiling, seemingly healthy star. I've kind of held back from saying anything recently about the loss. It's sad but I don't know. It's also fucked up and I'm mad. At least she's not in anymore pain.

*New Music* Otis - Jay-Z x Kanye West (Mastered)

Late pass please. Kind of ridiculous that I didn't post this yet. It's like the best thing ever. The kid Dred and I might have heard it 100 times in 2 days.

Download Otis - Jay-Z x Kanye West (Produced by Kanye West)

Watch The Throne drops in like 3 days or something. So crazy how it hasn't leaked yet. That's power right there. Tickets for the official tour were supposed to go on presale today but it was pushed back until August 2nd in order to accommodate more dates. We're hoping that means a New York show. We're also hoping tickets aren't a million dollars each.

*Once again, dope artwork up top by Riccardo Tisci.

*New Kicks* Asics Gel Lyte Ⅲ ‘Workboot’

Feeling these a lot. Premium black leather with ‘workboot’ laces, a perforated leather tongue and a gum outsole. Looking like September on your feet.

Highsnobiety has some more angles

*New Video* Pot Of Gold - Game feat. Chris Brown + *Bonus* Infrared

Actually really like this song, say what you want. Video's nice too. Performance with his kid on the bed is money. It's been a long time now I've wanted Game to win, and the feeling hasn't changed.

Bonus* Game just dropped "Infrared" produced by Cool & Dre. (NR link)

Official "Watch The Throne" (Documentary) - Kanye West x Jay-Z (Video)

Was not expecting this at all. Don't know if it's suppose to be out and leaked or what but it looks official and it's done pretty fucking dope. Photography by Mike Waxx & Mike Carson, directed by Robert Lopuski.

*New Video* Trouble On My Mind - Pusha T x Tyler The Creator

Feeing this shit. Great simple concept directed by Jason Goldwatch.

*New Music* The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Yes! My favorite band ever just released their new highly-awaited single off a new Rick Rubin-produced album named I'm With You dropping August 30th. Sounds awesome, the vocals, the ending, everything. Super excited.

Ridiculous for sure but fun nonetheless. Dude from Bangbus running around spraying chicks with water guns is enough for me. Backyard parties over everything.

This Sunday @Reedspace Brunch! Free In NYC!

The extended family and good folks over at Reed Space are throwing somewhat of a first annual NYC brunch tomorrow and they want to see all your pretty faces. For no particular reason other than to celebrate Summer, this Sunday starting at 12pm enjoy local goodies from the LES. With sponsors like Starbucks, Dunking Donuts and local Chinese bakeries, you really can't go wrong. Not to mention it's all 100% free of charge. Elite Camp Crew will be providing the music, bring your smiles. Props to Staple Design and of course big homie, Jeff Staple himself.

Pusha T x Pitchfork "5-10-15-20"

Interesting feature Pitchfork does where they get inside the artists' head a little bit and talk about the music they loved at five-year interval points in their lives. Made for some great dialogue from my man.

"I was born in the Bronx, the youngest of four, and moved to Virginia when I was two. But my grandmother was still in New York after I left, so we'd go there every holiday, every summer."

*New Music* Up All Night - Blink 182

I don't know what changed, them or me. The song is typical Blink I guess but I don't know. Something's not right. Lead single from an upcoming studio album and the first new song they've released in nearly eight years.

*New Video* Rich & Black - Raekwon x Nas

Feeling this. Missed it a couple days ago.

Jeter's 3000th Hit x Jay-Z x Watch The Throne

Ok, hat is sick. Jay actually captured the thing on video on his blackberry or something. Fucking crazy, watch here.

*Bonus: "Watch The Throne" is coming, it's big, and everybody heard it by us.
The big news starting a few days ago and well throughout the week from almost every major music news source was all of this Watch The Throne talk. Jay played the just-about-complete record to roughly 20 or so people in a pot-smelling room of the Mercer Hotel after coming from the Yankee game. I don't know about you but I'm pretty fucking excited. I can feed you links all day but here's the stand out facts from what I read about the project from numerous credible sources.

It was recorded largely in hotel room studios around the world. Nothing was emailed, everything happened in the same room. The album went through 3 vastly different iterations, H*A*M* being apart of the first wave of material which the duo eventually scrapped for being too "big and calculating". The only 2 guests appearing on the album are Beyoncé and Frank Ocean on separate numbers. There's an excellent song sampling Otis Redding, one sampling Ave Maria, and there's one the guys speak to their unborn children. Dude from the Fader got kicked out for breaking the "no live-tweeting" rule. Kanye was in Paris. Jay was cool as shit. No final tracklisting, song titling or release date has been confirmed. Jay's a few songs deep on a new solo album.

For far more detailed accounts from a couple people that were actually there, feel free to read Billboard's review, as well as Sean Fennessy's for GQ.

Bape Leather Accessories Fall/Winter 2011

Kind of into the new accessories presented. I just put my little vintage brown belt on today and these remind me of the look I'm going back to for the time being. Not exactly but pretty close. The line-up includes two styles of belts, a leather bracelet with metal detail, and a leather/canvas detail money clip. Embossed Bape logos and all. Highsnobiety has the close ups here.

Skateboarding In India (Gorgeous)

This goes pretty deep and it's shot amazing. Props to everybody involved. Created for Oxelo Skateboards.

*New Music* Tunechi's Back (Tupac Back Freestyle) - Lil Wayne

His voice is sounding kind of interesting on this. Almost a cadence I don't think we've heard. Quick and to the point for the first leak off the upcoming Sorry For The Wait mixture.

Tom Ford's Top Five Lessons Of A Modern Gentleman

Eh, pretty on-point I guess. I probably would have doubled it to a solid top 10 instead but that's just me. The shorts thing is a little much but I might have to agree with the flip flops notion. Also, never LOL.

1. You should put on the best version of yourself when you go out in the world because that is a show of respect to the other people around you.
2. A gentleman today has to work. People who do not work are so boring and are usually bored. You have to be passionate, you have to be engaged and you have to be contributing to the world.
3. Manners are very important and actually knowing when things are appropriate. I always open doors for women, I carry their coat, I make sure that they’re walking on the inside of the street. Stand up when people arrive at and leave the dinner table.
4. Don’t be pretentious or racist or sexist or judge people by their background.
5. A man should never wear shorts in the city. Flip-flops and shorts in the city are never appropriate. Shorts should only be worn on the tennis court or on the beach.

"Watch The Throne" Album Cover Revealed (HQ), Pre-Order Link & Release Date

To all of our dismay, rumors of a Radiohead-like release at Midnight for one of the most anticipated albums of the year were alas, false. In it's place comes reveal of the incredibly detailed Riccardo Tisci-designed cover for the project, a link for pre-order, and an official August 2nd release date. SMH, they could have at least given up the first single.

Rare Jay-Z Interview/Freestyle From 1995

I can't front, I'm mad I slept on this shit and didn't post a few days ago. It was the 15th Anniversary of the release of Hov's classic LP Reasonable Doubt, and Philly Radio OG Colby Colb let go of this extremely rare Jay-Z interview and freestyle from 1995. Now there's a lot of shit that's been floating around from that era but I don't know what you got, man. This is crack. Such a confidence in the flow.  Here's what Colb had to say:

What can I say, this is a historic moment in Hip-Hop. At the time I knew of Jay-z from Original Flavor and he had a cameo on this Big Daddy Kane song that was out that summer.

This was before Rocafella, this was best friends Jay and Dame driving down to Philly in twin Lexus GS Coupes with records in the trunk. This was one of Jay-z first interviews outside of New York. You could see the potential in him, he was nervous yet confident. During this interview he talks about life before Reasonable Doubt which didn’t come out until 10 months later. Check out the freestyle over some Wu beats.

Props to Nahright with the download link

I'm saying...

Four of my absolute favorite bitches in the world all on one lucky muhhfucka's bed. Eat your heart out.

*New Video* Kendrick Lamar - Tammy's Song

Wishing more young cats coming out knew how to flow and spit like homeboy here. Interesting as fuck. Kendrick's much anticipated #Section80 can be purchased on iTunes now.

Van Gogh Paintings Tilt-Shifted

Mahdude just put me on to this and it's just so dope. Takes you right into the world of the paintings. An artist by the name of Serena Malyon adds popular tilt-shift photography effects to some of Van Gogh’s most famous works. There's some more info here, as well as a shit ton of more photos. Wow.

Nike Air Force 1 VT PRM QK (Low Foamposite)

Holy fuck these are so dope. The high-top white foamposite dropped a couple months ago but I just couldn't justify them high ass joints in the summertime. These are a whole different story. I need. No release date yet, though I'm assuming they'll be out asap. See a closer look here.

How To Make It In America (Season 2 Trailer)

We fell into this show last year and were sad to see it go for so long. Set to premiere again this September. New York-centric, man, gotta love it.

*New Music* Gangsta Of Love - Yelawolf feat. CyHi Da Prynce

Not bad. Kind of interesting actually. The kid's first single off his debut upcoming album, Radioactive. Dred's favorite rapper.

Marc by Marc Jacobs “Henry” Backpack

I'm all bagged up at the moment but I can appreciate my man's craftsmanship. My man = Marc Jacobs. The “Henry” backpack features a combination of coated nylon and textured leather. A nice solid $500 bag, with a metallic gold interior with single patch pocket. Yeah.

Check the bag out in detail here.

*New Video* Marvin's Room - Drake (Official)

Great. One of the songs of the year in my opinion and a couple of millionaires film the video with what looks like Nokia phone cameras. Eh, he'll be alright.

*New Video* Brunch - Action Bronson

Video is sick (in more ways than one). Anxious to see what homeboy does with it all. Directed by Tom Gould and Alexander Richter. Bronson's very popular Dr. Lecter is on iTunes now.
