Wes Anderson, Bill Murray & Others Talk "The Life Aquatic"
It's funny cause I just got this dvd in the mail. Some gems here.
"Field Experiments"
This is ill. They sent these 3 guys to Bali to make art.
The project resulted in a collection of more than 100 conceptual works that challenge the traditional notion of the souvenir. In Bali (like many other travel destinations) the souvenir is often associated with the degradation of authentic local art and craft as more and more artists and makers expend their energy to creating these commercial objects. Field Experiments Indonesia considers the souvenir with new optimism. By working directly with the local craft communities, without middlemen, and by creating a collection of objects informed by observation of daily Balinese life, the first project explored how objects can become deeply infused with a culture and their people.

New Louie Episodes From Season 4 Are Wonderful
I know a lot of people are talking about this but it still doesn't feel like enough. The shows are just masterful, in my opinion, in how they're written, shot especially. The acting feels natural and great. Louis' eye and commentary on everything is sharp as ever. The lessons taught feel like stuff we've never seen expressed in front of a camera. Especially in a network show. Although FX might be considered cable I don't know how these things work. It's just so good. The guy is brilliant. If you can find the shows somewhere watch them.
