A few years back a good friend of mine came across a box full of kodachrome slides. The slides told stories of friends, families, parties and cars with imprinted dates ranging from may 1979 to february 1982. I was fascinated by the look and feel of these images and did some high resolution sigma scans. The first set of images show a fashionable party dated may 1979.

Do you do tons of drugs? 
No, I’ve never had a drink in my life. I mean, I troll people and tell people I do drugs, but truthfully I don’t. I’ve never had a drink in my life. I don’t smoke or anything. 

Why? 
I don’t know. It’s just not for me. I just don’t have to. Plus, growing up at the skate park, there were a lot of kids that had so much potential to be pro — like, they were my age and they could have been pro by the time they were, like, 20, and they just got caught up in the party and drinking life and now they’re failures. I vowed never, ever to become one of them. It’s just not me.

Went to see Will Ferrell in Casa De Mi Padre yesterday and it was awful. A trailer for the new Steve Carell movie was the best thing about the whole experience. Amazing premise for a film if you ask me. 3 weeks till an asteroid hits earth, what are you getting into?

Them good folks at Reed Space just got these in to the shop and threw a preview up on their Instagram. I gotta say, holding them in my hand they're pretty great. Of the 3 color ways available these here in grey take the cake for me. Whether or not they're worth the $380 price tag is something else entirely.
