Goat of Hip-Hop Journalism, Elliott "YN" Wilson broke out the big guns for his private 40th birthday party at NYC's Spotted Pig last night. In attendance was sort of a who's who in urban media, as well as some heavyweight rap industry guys, the likes of Paul D. Rosenberg and Jay-Z. Just the minimum, you know? YN being just about the only guy with a pen computer that can muster up names like these with a simple call or text has put him in a different stratosphere of writers all-together and it's made for some great interviews/exclusives over the years, whether in the form of print or the relentless, RapRadar.com. What he's done for the culture of Hip-Hop is uncanny and for that we wish him nothing but the sweetest continued success.
