I won't go crazy like I might have gone in the past but I do feel a certain way. Again, nobody over here invented the wheel, but all I want is a certain respect for what we've done. We're on the ground over 2 years with www.illrapper.com and now with Jay's "lifestyle website", it'll look like we're jocking them. Never, no way. I don't know. Nice look into the present and future endeavors of the Schott, Perfecto Brand with newly-appointed Creative Director, Greg Chapman. I think it's wonderful when a true fan of a brand can live and grow for years with the company and then one day get the opportunity to decide where to go next with it. Some of pieces they're making look pretty dope. Shout to Will Yan for expanding his repertoire more everyday. Actually disappointed in myself for missing him premiering this video at The Crosby Hotel the other day. Next time, homie.

Rumors swirled throughout last night as a bullshit looking photo and description of an arrest made it's way around the internet. Read it yourself here but basically it stated that Mister Cee, the same dude who brought Biggie into the game and executive produced Ready To Die, the same legend DJ on Hot 97 for a million years, was arrested for soliciting a male prostitute and getting head in his parked car. If you're thinking what the hell one thing has to do with another, you're on the right track. Still, it's pretty disconcerting if it's true. While not outright dispelling any of the rumors during his old-school at Noon mix today, he seemed to be talking through the music of classic Big, Jay & Nas tracks. The overall attitude of the show seemed to be, I don't give a shit what you think, I'm a legend. You know what that means. Damn, b.

I'm careful about what I post here but I like the story behind this a lot. The picture was taken by one of Taylor's closest friends, actor and photographer Roddy McDowall. He persuaded her to pose naked by promising her it would be done tastefully. She then gave it to Todd, her third husband, as a present after he proposed in 1956 – the pair married a few months later but the relationship was tragically short-lived. Todd was killed 13 months after their wedding day when his private plane crashed during a storm over New Mexico. Crazy to me how even a nude photo can come out with grace from this woman. Rip.
