Amy Cuddy's TED Talk "Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are"
Want to thank Nation for the heads up on this. TED talks are the cheat code in my opinion. Unbelievable inspiration. This one up top is especially potent. Do yourself the favor.

T-Post Magazine Feature, "Timeless Tale Shit, jeffstaple Shit" Written By SHIRT (December 2012)
This was so cool to be a part of. Design by jeffstaple, illustration by ALELLI, and words by yours truly. It's real shit too. I remember clear as day hearing about the Pigeon Dunks all those years ago and just being in awe of the kind of showstopper they turned out to be. Timeless tale shit.
You can read the feature here in full. Thanks to everyone involved.

Seinfeld Article In NY Times Yesterday Was So Good
Read all 8 pages of this earlier. Really great.
Jerry Seinfeld began his commute after dinner, in no particular hurry. Around quarter to 8 on a drizzly Tuesday, he left his Manhattan home — a palatial duplex apartment with picture windows and a broad terrace overlooking Central Park — and made for a nearby garage. Due to tell jokes at a comedy club downtown, he decided to drive what he calls his “city car”: a 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Stepping into the garage, he tugged a thick fabric cover from the car. The interior was a pristine matte black, and the paint job was a startlingly luminous azure. “It’s called Mexico blue — a very traditional Porsche color,” Seinfeld said. “In the ’70s it looked normal, but now it looks insane.”

Will Ferrell For Port Magazine Issue #8 (Cover)
Interesting to see the funnyman somewhat good and regular for a moment in time. Cover is great.
When you’re hanging around West Hollywood for a few days, as I did when I met Will Ferrell, you sort of expect to see stars everywhere: at The Coffee Bean, walking out of Equinox, or getting out of their car for dinner at the Tower Bar on Sunset (I saw David Spade there one night). Whenever you see these people, though, they are generally doing their best to be real people, walking with their hats slung low, avoiding attention. So it was a little disconcerting when I met Ferrell. He was wearing a scarlet track jacket, shoes that must have been made up of six colours, and this intense trucker moustache. He would have stuck out in Texas or the 8th grade. But he definitely stuck out in Los Angeles.Ferrell obviously didn’t mind sticking out, but very little about him seemed celebrity-ish. The first I noticed (besides the gear) was how good his table manners were. He held a fork and knife like a character in Downton Abbey and waited to finish chewing before uttering a word. He also laughed a lot, which even though it was I interviewing him, made me feel comfortable joking around with someone who presumably has a high bar for laughter.

Pharrell Williams Interviews David Salle & KAWS (Video)
Press play. You might learn something.
Pharrell does this thing, ARTST TLK, where he sits down with world renowned artists and great thinkers and such to speak about their personal philosophies. Pretty dope stuff each time. Why there's a naked girl that comes in halfway to refill water glasses and no one makes any sort of acknowledgment is a little beyond me. I would've probably smacked that ass.

Street-Famous Graf Writer COST Interview w/ Vandalog
A little bit of newfound respect for an old school guy who touched upon some marketing genius in his day.
"... I was in my relationship with my ex, heavily and I was happy and in love. And it put me in a place where I couldn’t paint. My apartment was a studio and she convinced me to convert it into a home, like a living room, a bedroom. So there went my studio. So she actually was detrimental to my artwork, when I look back. At the time I was happy with her and I was like, “Okay, let’s make a house into a home,” type of thing. But now, I want my studio back. So you know, sometimes things that seem really good in your life at one point, you look back a little later on, 5, 10, 20 years later and you might say, “Wow, that was good then, but was that really good for the grand scheme of my entire existence?”
V: Would you change anything if you could?
COST: Now looking back I’m like “What the fuck? What was I doing? I should have been painting and producing,” and I was hanging out and traveling around going upstate to the New England area, down south to Florida, like up and down the east coast a lot. Just chilling out, running my business, and now I look back and there’s this big gap where I didn’t do work. So I need to make up for that now, before I’m dead. But you know, I don’t really have regrets. It’s part of my life. It puts me exactly where I need to be..."

"Guerrilla Fashion: The Story of Supreme" - NY Times
Great look into the mind of one of the illest brands to do it.
Huge lines, once endemic to its New York flagship in SoHo, now form at satellite stores in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and other cities. The current issue of British GQ Style, a men’s fashion bible, hails Supreme as “the coolest streetwear brand in the world right now.” And the Berlin culture magazine O32c called it “the Holy Grail of high youth street culture.” The Business of Fashion site called it “the Chanel of downtown streetwear.”

By Any Means & Hood Chef Present “By Any Meals: A 5 Borough Food Drive.”
You gotta give it up for kids working hard to make a life for themselves and the people around them yet still taking the time out to give back any way they can. I want to send a special a shout out to the By Any Means team for doing just that, and I urge you to make whatever small or large donation you can toward the cause. It's a great one.
This Thanksgiving 2012, By Any Means will launch its first annual charity initiative “By Any Meals: A 5 Borough Food Drive.” Our goal is to raise enough money and collect enough non-perishable goods for at least 500 people to have a hot plate of Turkey with all the fixings, as well as a bag of food to bring home with them on Thanksgiving Day.

ELECTION DAY
I do my best not to speak out of my ass most days. If I don't know much about something you won't catch me acting like I do. So in order to say these next few sentences it took me reading a bunch, listening a bunch, and flat out educating myself. Obama is the stronger candidate on the major issues I think most people [should] care about. Not to mention, our President and deserves a full and fair 8-year term to do his best for our country. Get out there and vote.

New York Magazine Stunning Cover Photo Of A Dark City
Support print. Because look at this shit it's awesome.
"The easiest part of a harried three days came Friday around noon, when we met to settle on the cover. A photograph taken by Iwan Baan on Wednesday night, showing the Island of Manhattan, half aglow and half in dark, was the clear choice, for the way it fit with the bigger story we have tried to tell here about a powerful city rendered powerless. We crammed back into the conference room, raced to finish our pages, and hoped, like other New Yorkers, that everyone would find the lights on when they got home."
On newsstands now.
