Go here for more info.

*New Video* Someone Like You - Adele

Love this. Video's a little underwhelming though. Has all the elements of something great but it's just not.

@NinaSky Pose For New MadeMe x Schott NYC Collab Leather Jacket

Strong, vital piece for Fall/Winter from Erin's team. Liberty Of London Edenham Floral Pattern lining and trademark Schott NYC details are just the icing on the cake. The cake in this case being my favorite twin girls in the world. Photo by my man William Yan. More here.

*New Music* F.A.M.E. (Fake Ass Motherfuckers Envy) - Young Jeezy feat. T.I.

"The Talks" Sits Down With Scott Schuman

Gangster! I never heard one of these guys keep it so trill. Good for him.

Do you fear competition as more and more copycats of your website The Sartorialist appear online?
No because in order to do it with any longevity you actually have to make a business out of it and actually be able to make money. They might do it for a little while, but it’s hard to keep the passion to do it until you make money with it. And as soon as they start making money, if they are not controlling that, all the money is going to go right out to all those people they are taking stuff from. So I don’t know how a lot of them are going to make a business out of it. Talking about financial benefits.
Do you make money off your blog or do you make money because of what you have created around your blog?
Both.
How?
American Apparel bought advertising for the whole year and then I just got an email yesterday that Net-A-Porter.com is going to buy advertisements for the rest of the year (2010) as well. So those two ads alone are a good fraction of a million dollars: more than a quarter million and less than a half a million. The key for me, and for Garance also, is like any good business: diversity. I make money from shooting campaigns and editorials, from prints, the rerelease of my photos in different magazines, and from doing personal appearances. I make money from a bunch of different places.

Continue reading the small interview here. If you've never heard of Scott Schuman, he's damn near the best to ever have a street style blog.

EighteenEighty Present: "3 Days in the Life" w/ Jeff Staple & Reed Space

I don't even know what to say. I work here, with Jeff and his team, and this is still inspiring as ever. Really amazing job done by EighteenEighty out of Canada. And God what a screenshot up top.

Cole World, In Stores Now, Respect the Hustle (@JColeNC)

It's been a long time for the brother coming up, and in turn it's been a long time for friends and fans worldwide. But the day is finally here and Cole's debut album on RocNation is officially in stores. Whether you think J. Cole is the second coming of Nas or not, you gotta respect dreams coming true. GQ Magazine Dances With A Naked Supermodel On The Beach

This is nice. I wish the song was different I guess but besides that it's dope. They really just filmed Lara Stone running around naked on a beach.

More with Mz. Stone here.

*New Music* Street King Energy - 50 Cent

More than posting this cause it's any good, I'm more just showing my support for the Street King promotion Fif's been on as of late. If you haven't heard, for every 6-hour energy shot he sells he turns around and feeds one child through the extremely prestigious World Food Program. Whether you like the guy or not this is huge, and it's not really getting any of the attention it deserves. Can't wait to see how it all plays out. Until then, here's some dirty rap.

Sex & Fury Performing Tonight In NYC "Dar Electric"

In there like swimwear, baby. That's family.

Duck Sauce x How To Make It In America Premiere "Luis Guzman" (Video)

Really smart and fun to watch. Play on one of my favorite records of 2011, A-Trak and Armand Van Helden's "Barbra Streisand". How To Make It...premieres it's 2nd season next Sunday, October 2nd on HBO. Filling that gap left by Entourage just fine.

Nike Sportswear x Fragment Design "Zoom Meriwether" Boot Preview

I'm fucking with these. They'd go great with a wool number. No word yet on where or how many will be released, but Hypebeast says to expect them in November. Sounds about right. My guess is they'll live at 21 Mercer for a very short time. Shout to Jeff Staple for the uncredited photo, ha.

*I know there's been a bunch of clothing pieces as of late but it's just about Fall, bitch. The absolute best time to put clothes on and go outside.

Luminox OD Military 3040 Series

Always keeping my eye out for a good watch. These are special. Two new pieces part of the OD Military 3040 Series. Hardened miniral glass and Swiss quartz movement. That green is killer.

Scorcese's "George Harrison: Living In A Material World" Documentary (Trailer)

I really wanna see this as soon as it becomes available. Looking like early October. Looks really well done and there's some great pull quotes throughout I could use too, haha.

*The official poster looks a little wonky but you can see everything over at my new favorite site.

Props to the Def Jam tumblr.

Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons x Duvetica Down Jacket & Vest

Hope you're getting ready for an amazing Fall/Winter. It's pieces like this that take me right where I need to be. Just gorgeous collaboration padded down jacket and a matchind reversible down vest. Corduroy and checker panels on the back, plaid lining and it's a color the same as a perfect leaf.

Highsnobiety put me on.

Kanye West & Jay-Z "Niggas In Paris" Single Artwork

I don't think I ever put this up and I really liked it. Let's hope we get a video.

Scarlett Johansson's Naked Ass Photo Leaks

Why this is causing all the stir it is I've no idea. My friend Dred made out with Scar before she got famous and now we get to see her pretty white ass. Gotta love the interwebs.

*New Video* Can't Get Enough - J. Cole feat. Trey Songz

Actually like this. Has some cool shots. Good for Cole getting that buzz up. Album drops September 27th worldwide.

*Bonus* He dropped that Jay-Z feature, too, by the way. Mr. Nice Watch -

Bleu de Paname Cosie Shirt

Perfect.

$175. Buy it for me here.

Nas Celebrates His 37th Birthday In NYC w/ Jay-Z, Steve Stout, Common, DJ Premier, Carmelo Anthony & More

Something both dope and weird about a party with no bitches, ha. Well there's a few. A lot of good hip-hop in the same few feet of eachother though. Really good to see. Another 100 birthdays for the kid from the Bridge.

*New Video* Swim Good - Frank Ocean (Directed by Nabil Elderkin)

I'm not sure what any of it means but visually, it's nice and warm. What we've to expect from Frank I think. Whole thing reminds me of some of my super fond Cali memories.

Adidas Originals ZX 8000 “Hiking” Sneakers

Really very into these for some reason. The silhouette is not my immediate choice for a sneaker but the iconic retro runner, first released in 1988, in such a premium red-brown leather absolutely kills. The red hiking laces are just the icing on the cake. God bless Fall.

Buy them here.

Pay Attention: Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" Song/Video Are Killer

This chik is blowing my mind. So good, so talented. Makes these videos herself. Out of New York. Wow. Shout to my man, producer Steel Tipped Dove for putting me on to Shorty eaaarrrrrlly.

*Pitchfork asks her a few questions and I like the way she answers.

"Even if you're the best singer in the world, there's a good chance no one will ever hear you. You make a decision to keep singing or to stop. I’ve been singing in Brooklyn since I was 17 and no one in the industry cared at all. I haven't changed a thing since then and yet things seem to be turning around for me. Perhaps the angels decided to shine on me for a little while."

*New Album" Fake It Till You Naked - Rekstizzy

Give it up for my man. This shit kind of bangs. I'm usually not into "funny rap" but this has some great execution and imagery throughout. You're gonna have to trust me. Shout to Rek, download it here.

Jay-Z & Kanye's "Expensive Taste" By XXL

This is...something. I don't know what haha.

A Message On The 10-Year Anniversary Of 9/11

Can't believe it's been 10 years. Time froze. Today, like every Sept. 11th, we reflect. Cherish the time you have with your loved ones. Gather up and watch football, maybe make a nice dinner. Don't be completely down and out, don't be ignorant. If you survived, you owe it to those who didn't to live on. Just be. And be better. Huge shout to my city.

*New Video* Blue Jeans - Lana Del Rey

This is pretty fucking ill. And Shorty has a great name.

*New Music* Drake Releases "Club Paradise" + "Free Spirit feat. Rick Ross"

Drizzy went on a releasing music spur and blessed us with 2 new joints he's most likely leaving off the album. There's some gems throughout both, that's no doubt, but the record with Rozay is more my speed. Cool to see the boy trying some new shit.

Club Paradise

Free Spirit feat. Rick Ross

*He also briefly steps away from dj'ing at Versace two nights ago to talk to PaperMag.

Young Jeezy's Highly Anticipated "TM:103 Husterz Ambition" Now Drops September 20th

It's official. There wasn't a set date for a while and people were wondering when the hell the trap star would get hot again. They're giving him 2 weeks. Don't know exactly why but I got excited. It's a good poster.

"Nike Vac Tech...Future Kicks"

Yeah. My favorite shit of the moment by far. Not just this colorway either but the entire Vac Tech shit they're on right now. Just super clean. More to come.

*New Music* Main Squeeze - Anthologee feat. T.Shirt & KLEP ONE

A&D kids run deep in this city! Haa. Shout to Ant & company for real, small fucking world. Ready to share some of his talents with the rest of us, Anthologee enlists myself and Klep One to jump on the first single from his yet to be announced album coming soon. As soon as I heard the 90's houseparty vibe of this record I knew I wanted to be apart of this shit. I'm saying, I got some friends, you got some friends, too...

"Pray Vignette" (Video) - Malice (Of The Clipse)

I had to show this. It's done pretty good. Had me smiling, then not so much. I pray the brother finds peace.

Carhartt x Innervisions Turntable Slipmat

This is gorgeous, if merely aesthetically. Pretty sure Darvin told me they stopped making Technics, though I'm not sure. European music publishers Innervisions are giving away the very limited edition dark leather slipmat to subscribers of the 2011/2012 edition of Innercircle Magazine. Members will also receive 50% off all Innervisions records and CDs, yada yada yada, yada yada yada. Subscriptions are available here.

Shout to Hypebeast for the full post.

Reviews Come Back For T.Shirt's "Ode To @Raekwon"

I wanted to do something a little different than I've done in the past. So many people had such amazing things to say about our latest work I thought it'd be dope to put a bunch of those remarks into one place. Once again huge thank you to my brother Ronin of HotMop Films and my mothafuckin' design consiglieri, Stephen Billick, of the design company JOHN. As much as people might like to believe I made this in my bedroom, we actually shot this thing outside, throughout the night, on a whole side of Stephen's house on 100 acres of private land in Connecticut. We were there for a lost weekend shooting another clip you might get to see sooner than you think. Thank you again to my boys, and thank you to all the fans worldwide for supporting our efforts out here. See you soon.

"...as Shirt bobs and weaves, bright light playing over him, it becomes clear that this video is more than the sum of its parts. The hat tip to the Chef is simple, but strong, a kung-fu flick deftly thrown up in the background. T.Shirt stands cool in front of the camera, rattling off bar-after-bar of battering New York City rap..." - Ben Lampin (TheSmokingSection)

"This music video started circulating over the weekend and, well, it's awesome if you're into Wu-tang, Raekwon, and top-shelf hip-hip in general." - (BroBible)

"one off the most most innovated videos on the web. excellent design. master work." - commentator on 2DopeBoyz

"For the visuals, the Queens MC puts on his shades and cuts through street language while standing in front of a projector that cloaks the rapper in vintage Japanese film clips. Even Raekwon himself gave it the stamp of approval." - ComplexMag

"Shout out to T.Shirt, if he’s not tryin I don’t know what trying is." - Heather (Herfection)

"Shirt does it again." - KLEPONE (HipHopisDeadly)

"Props on sending someone roses while their still alive. Plus he murders this track!" - Ben (Pleasedontstare)

"Fuckin’ fire out this guy!! Every visual so far seems to fall right in line with this guy’s artistry." - (WeveGotTheJazz)

"Since we are giving our respect to the Chef, I figure we might as well throw our dubs up in the air. So you do just that…one time for real Hip-Hop." - YNotMyDream

"...Japanese imagery brings the rugged rhymer's wax poetics to life. Homeboy's words (i.e. "aren't you sick of everybody singing the same song?") are just another example of how NY rappers are hungry to bring the crown back home again, and are sending a message to more thriving regions to proteck they neck and not get too comfortable." - Nate Santos (TheSourceMagazine)

"New T.Shirt never fails! Shouts to Ronin for an amazing job and the rest of the Hot Mop fam!" - artist, The ILLZ

"T.Shirt embodies the characteristics of a true NY cat on his I Should Just Chill LP, from the trife lifestyle to the attitude." - JungleGymMagazine

"Dopeness from T.Shirt's "I Should Just Chill" album. Free and independent music for the win." - HipHopDX

"No doubt about it, Shirt makes dope videos. "24 Frames" still deserves a watch if you haven't already and his new video "Ode to Raekwon" isn't any different. Relatively simple concept, but executed perfectly, this is everything an ode to The Chef should be (minus the mountain of cocaine and white German girls)." - RefinedHype

"New video from the homey T.Shirt. Long story short, it's fire." - ReedSpace

"T.Shirt spits on a thick mellow beat that Raekwon couldn’t, and because of that his “Ode” to the mafioso master is a true tribute." - YoungAndFicticious

"Using familiar kung fu samples that scream “36 Chambers”, T.Shirt wastes no time letting the mic combust from the flames he breathes. Melted mic devices was purely evident from lines dealing with “having expensive jeans around his ankles getting polished” to there being a few good NY rappers and one of them is a ghost (hint). Dopeness indeed." - Emilio Sparks

''Ode to Raekwon'' is such a cool visual, it just doesn't get boring... a collage of moving images." - producer of "Ode To Raekwon", The Letter L

Did Lil Wayne Just Go Platinum In One Week?

As crazy as it sounds, it's looking like Wayne really did just sell a million copies in a week for the second time in a row. Wow. So much talk was going on all week about what kind of numbers he would do. With the buzz being low, no stand out single, the album leaking some days early and Wayne simply not being as seemingly "hot" as he was a couple years ago, this comes as a serious surprise. Supposedly there's an exact count that'll drop tomorrow but whether he got slightly over/under, this shit is no small feat. Congratulations YMCMB.

*Great Music* Cosmic Love - Florence & The Machine

If you don't mind I wanna switch up the pace just a little bit here. One of my favorite songs of the moment. Thanks to Yells. Get hip.

Visions of Visionaries Talks To Erykah Badu (Video)

I fucking love this woman. So interesting, and smart, and fearless. She just talks in this, about herself, her life. It's great.

Pharrell For Paladium (Photos + Full 'Tokyo Rising' Documentary)

Palladium boots though? I'm not buying it. I'm also not buying it. Cool flicks though. I need some red velvet couch photos in my life. What is interesting is Palladium's campaign where they took P through Tokyo, Japan following the earthquake tragedy this past March. The video series explores the city in a five part documentary titled Tokyo Rising. You can see the full thing here.

Shout to the homie NOWAYJO$E for the heads up.

Prodigy's First Cover Shoot Home w/ Urban Ink Magazine

The kid Dredlife goes behind the scenes with photographer Howard Huang, focusing on the inked up rap nigga legend. Definitely better than a dirty ass cell. Mobb forever, ya heard.
